A multi-medium visual artist and analyst who creates through painting, photography, filmmaking, and storytelling. With a thoughtful minimalist touch inspired by a brutalist analytical approach, JA brings soft experimental visual play and meticulous attention to momentary details.

Artist Statement

As a multi-medium experimental visual artist, my work spans photography, painting, filmmaking, and storytelling, all guided by a deep appreciation for raw authenticity and profound connection. I embrace a brutalist approach, finding beauty in simplicity, structure, and the unvarnished truths of moments. My professional background as an analyst naturally complements the artistic practice, sharpening my ability to appreciate details, build meaningful narratives, and evoke resonant emotions.

Light and shadow are my co-conspirators, shaping the mood and enhancing the visual tension of vulnerable moments. I use them not just to define the subject but to immerse viewers in the interplay of presence and absence, form and void. Every composition I construct is purposeful, defined by strong shapes and visual balance—an intentional calm that guides the eye gently while holding the soul firmly.

Storytelling is at the heart of what I do. Whether through a sequence of images or a visual piece, I strive for an elegant flow that invites viewers to journey inward. My work seeks to resonate on a deeply human level, shaping stories that touch the sense of being, the heart, or what I like to think of as our shared connected consciousness.

Ultimately, I aim to create art that ripples on the surface and lingers, quietly and powerfully, in the spaces where we feel most alive.
